How do I save my map?Top
To save a map, simply click the 'finalize' button on the bottom of the screen in step 3 of the map creation process. Next, the system will ask you to confirm usage of a credit. Once this has been completed the map is finalized. Please use the 'export' button to expose the options for saving your map as a PDF file, PNG file, or sending it in an email.
What are the icons at the bottom of the map and text boxes?Top
Great question! These icons are used for actions like zooming in and out, editing text, or even bringing certain elements forward to lay on top of other elements. Pretty snazzy huh?
Can I email directly from the site?Top
Absolutely! Once a map has been 'finalized', please use the 'export' button to expose the option for emailing a map.
Does my map expire?Top
No way! ShootMap saves all of your completed maps in your 'My Maps' section, which is located on your dashboard. The dashboard link is always located at the top of your browser.
Can I edit a map that has been paid for?Top
This is a service option that we are unfortunately unable to provide. Simply because once a map is finalized it is rendered for PDF file and PNG file usage. However, you can create a new Shootmap in just minutes!
What if my location can't be mapped or if there is no definite address?Top
No problem at all. Using the step 2 interface, you can manually drag the map pin to your desired location. It may help to zoom the map in multiple levels so that you can see the location in a larger format.
How do I change my name, email address, or password?Top
Simple. Just locate the 'My Account' section located on your dashboard to expose a list of options to change your personal information, email address, or password. The dashboard link is always located at the top of your browser.
